WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White House on Tuesday called findings that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo had sexually molested several women “hideous” and said President Joe Biden would look into the matter later that day.
New York attorney general Letitia James revealed the results of an investigation Tuesday that showed Cuomo engaged in unwanted groping, kissing and hugging and making inappropriate comments to several women.
“I don’t know anyone could have watched this morning and didn’t find the allegations hideous. I know I definitely did, “White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters.
Biden had previously said that Cuomo should resign if an investigation revealed the allegations to be true.
