Travis Barker indicators world publishing cope with Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell Music has signed an exclusive worldwide management agreement with musician, record producer, songwriter and pop-punk icon Travis Barker.

Famous as the drummer of the hugely influential, multi-platinum band Blink-182, Barker has enjoyed a productive solo career as well as his outfits Transplants and +44.

He crosses multiple genres of music and has co-written and produced songs for Machine Gun Kelly, KennyHoopla, Bebe Rexha, Sueco, Willow, Jasiah, Dirty Heads, Swae Lee, Frank Carter, James Arthur, Poorstacy and many more.

He recently worked with aspiring alternative / punk rock star and Warner Chappell jxdn songwriter on his debut album Tell Me About Tomorrow through DTA Records, Barker’s joint venture with Elektra Music Group.

Travis Barker was born in Fontana, California and played with local rock bands before joining the ska-punk group Aquabats in 1996.

After the release of The Fury of the Aquabats! In 1997 the group went on tour with Blink-182, which led to Barker officially joining the band in 1998.

With Barker as drummer, Blink-182 advanced to become one of the most successful multi-platinum bands of the past two decades.

After releasing four acclaimed studio albums, Blink-182’s number 1 hit, California, received a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album in 2016, which was accompanied by a sold-out North American tour headlining.

Outside of his work with Blink-182, Barker began releasing his own rap and hip-hop remixes, which became popular interpretations of hits like Rihanna’s Umbrella, Soulja Boys Crank Dat, Flo Ridas Low, and Eminem’s 3 am. led

In 2011, Barker made his solo debut Give the Drummer Some with performances by Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Rick Ross, Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg, and others. In 2015, Barker’s memoir and the New York Times bestseller Can I Say were published.

Barker’s myriad other credits include Ghostemane’s D (R) EAD; XXXTentacion’s posthumous album Skins; Machine Gun Kelly’s tickets to My Downfall – including the film adaptation Downfalls High; and Willow Smith’s Transparent Soul.
