TikTok Shares a Itemizing of A few of the Most Widespread Merchandise Promoted on the Platform in 2021

Are you looking for gift inspiration for the young hipsters in your life?

That Might Help – TikTok today released a listing of some of the most popular products on the platform from over the last year, in various #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt Tendencies.

As explained by TikTok:

“When the TikTok community comes together, they move culture – and commerce – in a powerful way, and the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt Phenomenon is a prime example. Products they rave about become cultural sensations and inspire people on and outside of TikTok to try, buy and share with their networks, resulting in massive consumer demand, sold out shelves and months of waiting for products. “

The listing, which has its own mini-site, includes 23 products from clothing to groceries to makeup that TikTokers have been raving about all year round.

As you can see here, each product comes with a brief overview that also points out the leading platform influencers who have shared clips about them. Tapping the “Learn More” prompt will take you to a product page on that company’s website.

So I’m not entirely sure if this is a paid promotion in collaboration with these brands or if TikTok is just trying to gain their favor by presenting their offers.

Either way, it offers some interesting insights into the activity of TikTok users that could help you with your own advertising strategy.

Or it can help highlight relevant influencers that you might also consider working with. For example, if you sell leggings, you might want to check out Hannah Schlenker’s TikTok feed and see what types of products she is promoting and how she is promoting them for future campaign ideas.

With that in mind, the listing is also a guide to what works on TikTok and what users think that could be of value for your planning.

Or you just need gift ideas – either way, you can take a look at the TikTok Gift Guide 2021 here.
