“When I first met my partners at ATC, I was drawn to their entrepreneurial and forward-thinking spirit.”
Sumit Bothra said, “When I first met my partners at ATC, I was drawn to their entrepreneurial and forward-thinking spirit.
“Over the years the company has developed into a unique environment that favors courageous, emotionally generous managers who are cooperative, compassionate and focused on creating rewarding and long-term careers for their artists.
“We are a very closely connected community in which managers and artists benefit from a range of in-house services, a wealth of concentrated expertise, a global partner network and an indispensable support structure.
Bothra added, “As we continue to work to protect our employees from future challenges, we are focusing more on ATC’s songwriter, producer and composer lists and expanding our engagement to a wider range of genres – electronic, pop, R&B and especially hip-hop.
“I also take responsibility for increasing diversity in our business, and am equally focused on our community impact initiatives. Last year we started two mentoring and training programs with students from BIMM and SoundSkool, both of which have been very rewarding – both professionally and personally. “
ATC also announced today (June 24th) that three aspiring UK executives – Sean Johnston, Sian Nuttall and Zakir Samad – have joined the London business.
Johnston represents Jungleboi, KABBA and songwriter Sinai Tedros who are currently working on projects with ZAYN, Steve Aoki, Craig David, KSI, Olivia Dean, Willow Kayne, HARLEE and Sleepwalkrs. Johnston also manages Tom King along with Bothra.
Nuttall currently represents John Newman, Charlotte OC, and Roman the Cartoon – a four # 1 roster, over 3 billion streams, and hit credits for the likes of BTS, Nicki Minaj, Bishop, and Rudimental.
Samad, meanwhile, has built a growing reputation working with hip hop acts and producers like AntsLive, Alex Noorani and Lauren Ralph. Since joining ATC, he has also taken on the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Renao.
Bothra added, “I am proud of the fact that three very entrepreneurial managers have chosen to join our thriving community and bring a world-class list of musical talents who already benefit greatly from our shared strengths and global expertise.
“Sean, Sian and Zakir all share our ethos of taking a very artist-centric approach to their work and it is a great privilege to be able to help each of them build on their already successful careers.”Music business worldwide
