FRANKFURT (Reuters) – The Porsche and Piech families, who control the largest shareholder of Volkswagen (DE 🙂 Porsche SE, continue to support the CEO of the automobile manufacturer Herbert Diess, said a spokesman for Porsche SE on Friday.

“The families continue to support Mr. Diess. Nothing has changed in their position, ”said the spokesman.

The comments come after Diess ‘relationship with German workers’ representatives hit a new low this week as there is disagreement on how radical the overhaul must be at Europe’s top automakers to achieve electric vehicle dominance.
