New Options: Vertical Menu, 2-Step Touchdown Pages, & Extra


We’re always adding new features, updates, and templates to help you work smarter. This week, check out what’s new in your AWeber account.

We get it. You’re working on a million things at the same time – in addition to marketing your business.

That is a lot of work. So we believe your tools should do 90% of the work for you. That is why we are constantly updating your account to make things faster, easier and, ultimately, better for your business to grow.

It is now easier for you to navigate your account, attract more subscribers with a new registration form and celebrate your winnings!

Easily navigate through your account

Do you notice anything new? Your menu options will now be on the left side of your screen instead of at the top (don’t worry, the options are the same).

Here are some of the key benefits of the new menu navigation and why we made the switch:

  1. Navigate your account faster without scrolling as your menu is always visible on the screen.
  2. Use the full screen size. You can reduce the menu to icons so you have more space to view and manage your marketing view and manage your marketing.
  3. Check your dashboard at a glance on a tablet or smartphone. Simply fold the menu on mobile and get a simple, useful view of everything – broadcasts, stats, pages, and more.

Quickly grow your email list with 2-step landing pages

Now there’s a new way to capture subscriber email addresses: 2-step landing pages (also known as 2-step opt-in or on-click pop-up forms).

What does 2-step opt-in mean? You can set up your sign up form so that it only appears when someone clicks a button or link on your landing page. This is different from a form that is always visible on your landing page or website, and from forms that appear after a certain amount of time.

To sign up for your list, visitors need to complete these 2 steps:

  1. Click a button to trigger a pop-up form.
  2. Enter an email address in the form to sign up.

Why should you use a two-step landing page? Quite simply: it could lead to more registrations.

That’s because visitors are more engaged than if they simply scanned a form with their eyes. Clicking a button to display the registration form increases the likelihood that visitors will complete the registration process.

Note: Two-step registration is not the same as confirmed registration or sending a confirmation email to your subscribers to add themselves to your list.
