Easy to understand reports that provide useful information quickly

Reporting is the best way to improve your email marketing. Reports can help you determine which emails are working, who your customers are, who is signing up, and even which days of the week are most effective.

The information needed for your success should always be useful and readable at a glance – wherever you are.

The latest updates mean our coverage does just that – in three ways:

  • Graphics and diagrams are easy and quick to read
  • You can easily review the reports on any device
  • Consolidated reports contain information that will help you write better emails

What’s new in AWeber reports?

Your reports are now faster to use and easier to understand.

Check out what’s new:

  • A brand new map shows the location of your audience on a local and global level
  • Larger and simpler reports will help you understand your data at a glance
  • Sortable tables help you spot trends and find the information you need
  • Consolidated reports and easy access to filters and actions show the information you want and need without the distraction
  • All reports work on any of your devices – regardless of which device it is

We hope these updates help you write better emails and get more sales.

What can I do with this new coverage?

Graphics and tables are pretty – but their strength lies in the information they can give you. So what are some easy takeaways you can get at a glance?

Identify your top performing content

Well, for starters, you can identify successful emails – perhaps due to better content or calls to action (CTAs) – based on above average click-through rates.

For example, this “Will open over time” chart for October shows a weekly program. A similar number of people open this email every time it’s sent, resulting in pretty similar sized spikes.

The clicks over time chart for the same time period and list has more peaks and higher peaks in early October than later. This could suggest that the show, which aired in early October, appears to have a more compelling proposition than the others.

A screenshot of the AWeber report view shows clicks over time with large chart peaks in early October and smaller ones later in October.

Use such data to determine what types of content, deals, and CTAs are best received by your audience, and send more emails with what they like.

Recognize location trends quickly

The location map provides a snapshot of global country data as well as states and cities. Check it out from time to time to see where – literally – your audience is.

The location map shows the whole world, but hover over the US to see the 17 states and the number of subscribers in each state.

There are a couple of things you can do with this data.

Recognize success: Have you recently attended an event in person in another city? You can take a look to see if word of mouth is spreading your brand, which would show up as more subscribers in that particular city.

Speak in the language of your audience: Do you have many customers in a country that does not speak your mother tongue? You may want to avoid complicated language that doesn’t translate well. Or segment users and email everyone in their language.

Send marketing emails based on location: Did you notice that you have a lot of new subscribers in California? Create a segment of California-only subscribers and send them a hyper-personalized email with references they understand and even a personal discount code.

All in all, knowing the location of your subscribers will help you identify them as people, not just numbers.

Check your reports!

We recommend that you review your data using these reports at least once a week to see if you can get useful information, spot trends, and help you develop a better email strategy that will generate more sales. Check out your new reports now!

Note: Did you like the old reporting system? It’s still available. Once you are in your reports screen, simply click on “Back to Classic Reports” in the upper right corner and you will be taken back to our old reports view.
