Japan business minister says Harvard fund ‘thanked us’ for recommendation By Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – Harvard University Endowment Fund thanked the Japanese government for advising Toshiba (OTC 🙂 Corp, the industry minister said Friday in response to an investigation found that a government adviser was putting pressure on the fund.

Hiroshi Kajiyama’s comments come after the Department of Industry investigated pressures on Toshiba’s overseas shareholders and the role of former advisor Hiromichi Mizuno.

Kajiyama said Harvard “thanked” Mizuno for advice.
