BigCommerce works with Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment. BigCommerce, the SaaS e-commerce platform, has announced a new integration with Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) that will allow BigCommerce’s US merchants to use Amazon’s order fulfillment services whether or not they are on Amazon sell or not. With MCF, BigCommerce merchants can access Amazon’s fulfillment network, operational expertise, fast shipping speeds and lower fulfillment costs with competitive pricing and scalable capacity. Merchants can now fulfill orders seven days a week, including 1-day, 2-day and 3-5-business day delivery. With MCF, retailers only pay for fulfillment and storage with no peak surcharges.


Facebook Pay is expanding to additional platforms. Facebook Pay is now available for businesses looking to offer the checkout option on their own websites. Starting in August, US companies using participating e-commerce platforms will be able to activate Facebook Pay so that customers can check out without having to re-enter their details. Facebook is starting the rollout with Shopify merchants and expects to expand availability with additional platforms and payment service providers.

Popshop Live raises $ 20 million for its live stream shopping platform. Popshop Live, a live mobile streaming marketplace for smaller brands, has closed approximately $ 20 million in Series A funding, with the company valued at around $ 100 million, according to TechCrunch. The round is led by Benchmark, in which TQ Ventures, Mantis VC, Access Industries and SV Angel as well as previous supporters Floodgate, Abstract Ventures and Long Journey Ventures participate.

Etsy completes acquisition of Depop, a global marketplace for reselling fashion for Generation Z. Etsy has acquired Depop, a marketplace for buying and selling unique fashion. The acquisition extends Etsy’s reach to the high-frequency apparel space, particularly the fast-growing resale space that caters to Generation Z audiences. The Etsy House of Brands portfolio now includes four e-commerce brands: Etsy, Depop, Reverb and Elo7. Depop is operated as an independent marketplace by its existing management.

GoDaddy works with Google to help small businesses grow online sales. GoDaddy has announced an integration with Google that enables GoDaddy’s online store customers to be discovered on all Google interfaces. Without leaving their GoDaddy online store, customers can create a Google Merchant Center account, sync their catalog to create free Google listings, and promote their products. In addition, GoDaddy customers now have built-in functions for starting intelligent shopping campaigns in Google Search, Google Images, Google Maps, YouTube and Gmail. Google is offering eligible GoDaddy customers up to $ 150 in advertising credit when they launch their first Smart Shopping campaign.

Shogun, a front-end ecommerce page builder, brings in an additional $ 67.5 million. Shogun has raised $ 67.5 million in a Series C financing led by new investor Insight Partners with the participation of existing investors Initialized Capital, Accel and VMG Partners. With the investment, Shogun will accelerate product development for Shogun Frontend and quickly scale its business. Shogun recently introduced headless storefronts with Shogun front end for Groove Life, OneBlade, Nomad, The Feed and Undersun Fitness among others.

ActiveCampaign raises $ 2 million in funds for app developers. ActiveCampaign, the email marketing platform, has launched its first developer fund. The program provides funding to app developers who develop tools to help ActiveCampaign’s customers. ActiveCampaign accepts applications from developers, startups and agencies who can create an integration with the ActiveCampaign platform that makes extended functions available to customers free of charge. Once selected, developers will be offered upfront and ongoing financial support. Developers from all companies are invited to apply.

Namogoo acquires Remarkety for the entire travel commitment. Namogoo, a digital journey continuity platform, announced the acquisition of Remarkety, an e-commerce marketing automation company that serves around 500 global brands. Namogoo enables retailers to shape the customer journey for each shopper by determining their intentions in real time and delivering the right customized experience without distractions. Via Remarkety, Namogoo can add hyper-targeted SMS and email campaigns to promote customer actions.

Freight Club introduces BigCommerce integration. Freight Club, a shipping management platform, announced an API integration with BigCommerce. Freight Club’s BigCommerce app enables store owners to immediately start shipping with discounted unit prices and automated order processing. BigCommerce merchants can also access free services, including professional claims handling, dedicated customer service, and sustainable shipping.

Perch to acquire Web Deals Direct for $ 100 million. Perch, a company that acquires and operates third-party Amazon and other direct-to-consumer brands, has acquired Web Deals Direct, an FBA seller with over $ 80 million in sales in 2020. Perch’s portfolio includes multiple categories including home and kitchen, patio and garden, sports and outdoor, and more. Since its inception in 2019, Perch has raised more than $ 900 million from investors including SoftBank, Spark Capital, and Victory Park, and has acquired over 70 brands.

Facebook publishes holiday guide 2021. Facebook released its “2021 North America Holiday Guide” to help marketers. The guide examines four ways digital discoveries are reshaping the Christmas shopping landscape: community and connection, engagement and entertainment, anticipation and occasion, and inspiration and spontaneity.
