Sarah Scott has been promoted to Managing Partner of LaPolt Law, PC, a music law firm specializing in intellectual property and entertainment law.
Scott, previously SVP of Business & Legal Affairs for Universal Music Group Canada, joined LaPolt Law in 2017.
The law firm founded by Dina LaPolt in 2001 currently has 10 full-time lawyers among its employees.
Sarah Scott will continue to oversee the law firm’s attorneys and operations.
It is described by the company as the “driving force behind long-term brand partnerships and multi-million dollar sales of music assets”.
