Beggin ‘was also number 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top 200 Global Charts with 7.3 million streams (as of Monday, July 12).

By reaching Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart summit, Maneskin finished Olivia Rodrigo’s seven-week run in first place.

On Friday July 8th, Rodrigo’s track Good 4 u, which has dropped to number 2 on the charts, had over 50.3 million streams.

Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits is number 3 with over 37.3 million streams.

Maneskin also has another track in the Top 10 on Spotify’s Weekly Global Top 200 Charts, I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE, which reached # 8 over 28 million streams last week.

Since winning the Eurovision Song Contest in May with their rock song Zitti e Buoni (“Shut Up and Behave”), Maneskin have advanced to become global superstars.

The track is currently also on Spotify’s Weekly Global Top 200 Charts and ranks 36th with over 12 million streams.

Maneskin are under contract with Sony Music Italy and go through Sony labels worldwide.

At the time of writing, the band has over 41 million monthly Spotify listeners, significantly more than rock stars Foo Fighters (13.8 million) and Arctic Monkeys (19.7 million) combined.

Last month, MBW reported that Maneskin had split from their four year old manager Marta Donà – a former advertising director at Sony Music Italy – and founder and CEO of LaTarma Management.

At the time, Maneskin had 29 million monthly listeners, which means their monthly listener count has increased by 12 million in just two weeks (since June 30).

Maneskin recently made British chart history as the first Italian act to hit two top 10 entries on the official singles chart, and last week in the US they topped the Billboard Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.

The band topped Spotify’s Top Viral 50 charts for the first time in early July, telling the streaming platform, “We’re seeing insane results and great feedback from so many countries outside of Italy – we weren’t expecting any of that.”Music business worldwide
